PolarisESTIMATIONS

Terms and Conditions

Last updated October 3, 2026

These terms govern use of polarisestimations.com and the Polaris Estimations services offered through it, including customer accounts, construction estimates, quote packages, and print-and-delivery orders. By creating an account, uploading drawings, or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Polaris Estimations prepares audit-reviewed takeoffs, bills of materials, and priced quote packages from the drawings and project information you provide. Separate offers, including Blueprint DFU and print-and-delivery, are described on their own pages. The price, scope, turnaround, and limits shown on that page or at checkout are part of the order.

An estimate is a work product based on the information supplied. It is not a construction contract, a permit submission, or a stamped engineering or architectural opinion unless a written agreement says otherwise. You remain responsible for checking the estimate against the drawings and for the bids and work you issue from it.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. Company administrators are responsible for the people they allow into the company account. You must tell us if you believe the account has been used without permission. We may suspend an account that is used in breach of these terms, or that creates a security risk.

3. Your drawings and files

You keep ownership of the drawings, specifications, and other files you upload. You grant us permission to use those files to prepare the estimate or print order, to store them in your account, and to operate and support the service. You confirm you have the right to upload the files and that they do not infringe someone else’s rights.

Your drawings and estimates are kept secure and are never shared with anyone else. We do not sell them, and we do not give them to other customers or to outside parties. All data is encrypted, in transit and at rest. Polaris staff use your files only to prepare the work you asked for. If you order printed drawings, the shop that prints that order receives the files needed to print and deliver it, and no one else does.

Upload drawings in the app. We do not accept drawing sets by email.

4. Orders and pricing

Prices are in Canadian dollars unless a page says otherwise. Launch prices, including the Blueprint DFU price and the print-per-page price, apply only to the number of customers stated on the offer page. After that limit, the regular price on the page applies. The amount due is the amount shown at checkout before you pay.

Stripe handles the cards. Polaris Estimations does not store credit card details. An order is accepted when payment succeeds, unless we tell you we cannot complete it. Blueprint DFU is limited to the project size, revision count, and turnaround stated on the offer page. Print orders are priced from the page count the system records when you upload.

5. Cancellations and refunds

If we cannot deliver the service you paid for, we will refund the amount paid for that order. Once estimating work or printing has started, fees are otherwise not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or we agree to one in writing. Contact ops@polarisestimations.com with the account email and the order details.

6. Acceptable use

You will not misuse the service. That includes trying to access another customer’s account or files, interfering with the site, uploading malware, or using the service for anything unlawful. We may remove content or close an account that breaks this section.

7. Availability

We work to keep the site available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages, or events outside our control can interrupt the service. Turnaround times on an offer page are targets, not a guarantee, when drawings are incomplete or the scope is larger than the offer allows.

8. Liability

If there is a data breach, unauthorized access, or loss or disclosure of drawings, estimates, or other data, Polaris Estimations is not liable and cannot be sued for it. You agree not to bring a claim against Polaris Estimations arising from a data breach.

To the extent the law allows, Polaris Estimations is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost bids, or project delay, arising from use of the site or an estimate. Our total liability for a paid order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Ontario, including liability for fraud or for injury caused by negligence where the law does not allow that limit.

9. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The new terms apply from the date shown. If you keep using the service after that date, the updated terms apply to that use. An order already paid for stays on the price and scope confirmed at checkout.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Disputes are heard by the courts of Ontario.
